I was just trying to use one for the closeout sale though and I got this weird error message saying that I have used the coupon too many times or it is invalid. Is the coupon code still working?? Hi Cindy! Well that sure is frustrating!! There are a few common mistakes we see when customers are trying to order that cause that funny little statement to pop up. So, I have compiled a little cheat sheet of things you can double check when this unfortunate situation happens to you!
- Are you sure there are items in your order that the coupon code applies to?
- Ex) If you are trying to use a closeout coupon there should be at least one product from the ‘clearance’ or ‘closeout’ section in your cart
- Did you type the code in correctly?
- We have all done this before (myself included!) so there is no shame in admitting you might have just typed it in wrong. FYI, our codes are always all lower case and one word – so don’t put any spaces or capital letters in there!
- Are you trying to use more than one coupon?
- Only one coupon code can be used per order so if you are trying to use two, try calculating out which one will give you the better deal and just stick with that one!
