Dear Annabelle, I recently read on your website that you use flower heads to decorate gifts? I am getting a gift for a friend of my daughters and I thought this would be really cute idea for her present. Do you have any suggestions about which flowers look the best? Danielle, Bethlehmem PA
Thanks for the question Danielle! Our wholesale flower heads and hair bows are indeed perfect for use in DIY gift wrapping. Not only do these look fantastic and unique on a box or gift bag, but they are affordable and can be re-used as a hair accessory by the recipient! We have a wide variety of fabric flower options at Wholesale Girls for you to use, both with and without an attached clip. I don’t know about you, but I am a no-fuss crafter, so I prefer using a fabric flower with a clip on it to minimize my time spent messing with hot glue!!
As far as which flowers to use, that mostly comes down to personal choice. The one thing I will say is that they look best on boxes when they can lie somewhat flat, so steer clear of fabric flowers with a lot of depth and volume like our rose heads. To make the beautiful DIY wrapping below, I used a 3.2 inch crystal flower with clip, a 4 inch crystal ladybug gerbera daisy hair clip, and a 5 inch crystal tropical flower with clip. Easily clip on these flower heads to your ribbon bows and you can mix and match wrapping papers, ribbons and flowers to your hearts delight!
