Spring Break Crafts

Spring Break Crafts

With Easter right around the corner, it’s always a reminder that Spring Break is upon us too. Of course Spring Break is a great time to just hang out with the kids and a gentle nudge that summer will be here soon!. But with all that time off from school, the kids are bound to get a little antsy…and BORED.

To help cure those boredom blues we have found some great Easter craft ideas that you can easily make with the kiddos.

It’s amazing how expensive traditional Easter baskets can get, so here is a fun inexpensive alternative to the traditional basket. They are sized just right for a “few” treats…we wouldn’t want the kids to “sugar-ed” up, right?

You can find the supply list and the easy to make directions at The Hostess {With The Mostess}

We love the idea of up-cycling; the method of taking something old or used and making it new again. And what better way to up-cycle than to create something beautiful and useful.  We found this great idea via Pinterest of taking an old teacup and creating this adorable little “spring garden”

Holiday-Crafts-and-Creations.com has some really fun crafts for all your holiday needs. We just loved the tea cup garden and can’t wait to make a few ourselves!

Wouldn’t they be cute as name plates on your Easter dinner table?? Check out Good Housekeeping for the super EASY directions and adorable way to decorate your eggs. It’s amazing what a little paper and glue can do!

Of course nothing says FUN like whipping up a delicious and super cute edible treat. We found two…(that’s right we said 2) that would make anyday a fun day.

What kiddo doesn’t like dress-up? Even boys enjoy a good dress-up session. Wouldn’t it be cute to have a whole nest of bunnies? And edible ones at that. Check out these “incognito” cookies; a great way to dressup as the Easter bunny

Munchkin Munchies has some great recipes for kid friendly and delicious treats.

And last but not least….a fun edible craft that you can make and eat while creating all the fun projects we shared with you today.

Thanks to Two Peas & Their Pod for sharing these adorable but yet yummy macaroon cookies dressed up to look like little bird’s nests! How can you go wrong with a macaroon cookie AND Nutella?
